CAT6 : The transmission frequency of this type of cable is 1MHz ~ 250MHz, and the six type of wiring system should have a large margin of integrated attenuation crosstalk ratio (PS-ACR) at 200MHz, which provides two times the bandwidth of the five type.
The transmission performance of class 6 cabling is much higher than that of class 5 standard, and it is most suitable for applications with transmission rate higher than 1Gbps.
One important difference between class 6 and Class 5 is that it improves the performance in crosstalk and return loss, which is very important for the new generation of full-duplex high-speed network applications.
The basic link model is cancelled in the six standards, and the routing standard adopts the star topology structure. The routing distance required is as follows: the length of permanent link cannot exceed 90m, and the length of channel cannot exceed 100m.
A new performance evaluation index is determined for the Cat6. Single core bare copper with specification of 23AWG is used as conductor, polyethylene polymer material is used as insulator, and flame retardant polymer material is used as outer skin material with color of gray.
